According to a Hillsborough County Press Release, Cork-Knights Volunteer Fire Dept. has been designated as one of the Fire Stations that will distribute water starting at 9 a.m. Friday 1/15/10 to county residents with dried up wells.

The following Hillsborough County Fire Stations will be distributing water:


Fire Station 21, 11641 Flint Ave. in Thonotosassa
Fire Station 23, 3138 Sydney-Dover Road in Dover
Fire Station 25, 4503 Coronet Road in Springhead
Fire Station 26, 5302 W. Thonotosassa Road in Cork-Knights
Fire Station 30, 2526 Charlie Taylor Road in Midway
Fire Station 36, 116 N. Dover Road in Valrico

The following fire stations in Plant City will also be distributing water:

Fire Station 1, 604 East Alexander Street
Fire Station 2, 809 North Alexander Street

Residents who demonstrate they have a certified well that is affected will be able to get one gallon of drinking water per family member per day, up to five gallons per family, according to the county's website,

This Executive Order shall remain in effect for seven days unless extended or rescinded by the Group.
